It was decided among the kids and parent advisers that we really wanted to support a local non-profit group that helps animals. After research it was unanimously decided all our proceeds would go to RPAW.
A little about RPAW (Rescue Pets Are Wonderful)
RPAW is a nonprofit group of volunteers dedicated to finding loving homes for rescued dogs and cats, and committed to educating the community about responsible pet ownership and overpopulation. Since 2004 RPAW has rescued and rehomed 4,000 animals.
RPAW is completely volunteer-based. They rely on donations and adoption fees to continue their mission. There is no shelter, all animals are hosted in foster homes or in adoption centers within local pet stores until a suitable forever home is found.
RPAW rescues cats and dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds.
RPAW is always in need of volunteers and donations.
